Hot
Buttered Rum
1/2 Gallon Apple Cider
1 package of Mulling Spices
Spiced Rum (optional)
1 Stick of Butter
Heat
1/2 gallon of Apple Cider on stovetop. Add 1 package of Mulling
Spices. Pour into individual mugs. Add one jigger of Spiced Rum
(optional). Float one pat of butter on
top. Stir lightly and ENJOY! Serves 15 or more.

Homespun
Hot Cocoa
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 c. sugar
3 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 gallon milk
Mini Marshmallows or Whipped Cream (optional)
In a 10-quart saucepan mix cocoa, sugar, and water. Slowly stir until
it reaches a slow boil. Add milk. Continue heating until steaming. Just
before pouring into mugs add vanilla. Serve with mini marshmallows, or
for a finished look add whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Serves 10-12. |
Almond Amaretto Coffee
1/2 cup brewed hot coffee
1 tablespoon Amaretto
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Whipped cream
1 teaspoon toasted slivered almonds (optional)
In a coffee cup, combine coffee, amaretto and brown sugar. Stir
until sugar is dissolved. Top generously with whipped
cream and sprinkle with almonds, if desired. |
