How large of an area will the CatMouse™ deodorize?
Typically each CatMouse™ can Deodorize & Sanitize up to a 50 sq. ft. area (approx. 7' x 7' area)

What is the size of the CatMouse™ unit itself?
The CatMouse™ is 3-1/2" x 5-5/8".

Does the CatMouse use batteries?
No. The CatMouse™ includes a power adapter which utilizes electricity for maximum deodorizing capabilities. You can simply plug the CatMouse™ into the nearest outlet.

What is the difference between the XJ-800 and the CM-X1?
Both models have the same odor eliminating capabilities and optional pheromone diffusion basket, however, the CM-X1 has a removable access grill at the top, allowing for easier maintainence. To clean the emitter on the XJ-800 you must flip the unit, unscrew the screws and remove the cover. Our improved CM-X1 unit has a removable grill at the top that can be opened by gently prying it with your finger.

Where should I mount the CatMouse™?
Because Oxyions are heavier than air it is beneficial to place the CatMouse™ at least 2-3 ft. above the object (ex. litter box) or area you are intending to deodorize.

Won't this use a lot of electricity?
The CatMouse™ is an efficient unit working 24/7 on only 3 watts of power...less than half the power usage of a typical night light!

How do I use the Pheromone Diffusion Therapy feature?
We recommend you purchase a pheromone specifically manufactured for cats (like Feliway®) and add just a couple drops to one of the Pheromone Diffusion Wicks. Insert in the Diffusion basket and start operation. NOTE: Never use essential oils which are unhealthy for your cat. Always seek advice from your veterinarian when administering treatment of any kind to your pet.
